Protest the frackin’ State of the State in Wilmington!

From our friends at fww:

Join us Tuesday, February 24 in Wilmington, Ohio to protest the State of the State. We’re holding Governor Kasich accountable for his backward energy policy that threatens to leave Ohioans with the clean-up bill for the oil and gas industry’s toxic, radioactive mess.

From his fracking-friendly energy bill to opening up Ohio to become the regional dumping ground for toxic, radioactive fracking waste, it’s clear that Governor Kasich is pushing an oil and gas drilling agenda. We’ll be demonstrating outside the State of the State to send the message that Ohio needs forward-thinking energy policies that prioritize renewable energy over dirty, old fossil fuels!

What: State of the State Anti-fracking protest
When: Tuesday, February 24 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Roberts Centre, 123 Gano Rd., Wilmington, OH 45177

Governor Kasich will surely be addressing his proposal to increase the “frack tax” in his State of the State speech, and we’ll be there with the resounding message: Taxing fracking won’t make it safe.

Sign up today to let us know you’ll be there.
