Bruce Koehler will give a brief history of “The Mill Creek”, then focus on contemporary conditions, and conclude with a hopeful message about restoration.
Biography of Bruce Koehler:
For 25 years, Bruce Koehler has been an Environmental Planner for the water quality program at the OKI Regional Council of Governments. After graduating from Reading High School in 1969, Bruce indulged his wanderlust with more than 10,000 miles of hitchhiking across the USA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies at Miami University in 1976, then spent a year bumming around Europe. A 12-year journalism career interceded before he finally capitalized on his college degree at OKI. Nowadays, Bruce enjoys paddling, sampling and cleaning up our region’s rivers and streams.
