The Ohio Chapter Water Sentinel Summit at Cuyahoga Valley National Park was held on June 5th and 6th, 2015. Over thirty participants learned how Water Sentinels can be better trained to help monitor water to Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) standards.
Our Summit was highlighted by a visit to nearby Brandywine Falls. The Falls are surrounded by sandstone, Bedford shale and Cuyahoga shale that have many fossils. The trails are well groomed with plenty of dense foliage on either side for the Summer hike.
Our thanks to the staff of the Park who made our stay comfortable and to the kitchen crew who served creative food prepared with care.
