The April Innings meeting will be held April 5 at 7 pm. The topic will be “Intro to Sustainability” by Kylie Johnson
The term “sustainability” is thrown around a lot these days. Used in a broad context, the concept sounds abstract and daunting to tackle. However, living a sustainable lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated. In this session, we will explore how one person or business can make choices that are good for the health of the planet and its people. Sustainable living is unique to each individual and can be simple, money-saving, and possible for everyone.
Kylie Johnson is the Green Learning Station Coordinator at the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati. Kylie is certified through the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP) and teaches students, professionals, and the public about stormwater management, composting, green infrastructure, and sustainability. Kylie earned a B.S. in Conservation Science from Muskingum University and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from Ohio University.
