Special interest groups backed by the Koch brothers are trying to take away our local authority! Senate Bill 210 would preempt us from being able to pass a plastic bag fee in cities across Ohio. This is not only an issue of sustainability, but also of our democracy and local governments.
TAKE ACTION: Follow the link below to send a message to Ohio legislators and let them know that SB 210 is NOT okay.
Hi all, We’re meeting Nov 28 at 6:30 at 2330 Victory Parkway, 4th floor across from elevators, Cincinnati, Oh 45206
An agenda will be posted soon!
Come with ideas and reusable bags you no longer need; old t-shirts would be great too (to make into resuable bags).
Join us and bring a friend. Email [email protected]limestoneadvocates.org if you have questions.
Sierra Club past plastic team
We hope to see you there!
The Miami Group Sierra Club was in attendance at the previous Northside Fourth of July Parade with the Bag Monster! Spirits were high in the effort to obtain a “plastic bag fee” for Ohio, which would be a first for a Midwest State! Come and join us in our endeavors towards getting Cincinnati Past Plastic at our next meeting:
July 25, 2017 at 6:30pm
2330 Victory Parkway in the Conference Room
Sierra Club and the Bag Monster will be at the Northside Fourth of July Parade. Help us stop plastic bag pollution and plant wildflowers for local pollinators. We will see you at noon!
