Living car-free in Cincinnati — September 7


Our September Innings will feature Chow-chi Huang of the Miami Group and Nathan Alley of the Ohio Sierra Club talking about how and why to go “car-free” (or at least “car lite”) in Southwest Ohio.

The presentation will highlight topics such as “e-bikes as car replacements” and our Clean, Green Commute campaign. Chow-chi Huang is a volunteer leader with the Sierra Club’s Miami Group and our Transportation Committee, and an experienced user of car-free transportation alternatives, including e-bikes and public transit. Nathan Alley is a staff member with the Ohio Sierra Club who works closely with both the Miami Group and statewide Ohio Transportation Committees. Nathan is Chair of the City of Cincinnati’s Environmental Advisory Council; a member of the Tri-State Trails Executive Committee; and an Adjunct Assistant Professor (Environmental Studies) at the University of Cincinnati.
