Memorial Grove Service Outing at French Park Follow-up

Sat. April 13; Memorial Grove Spring Service Outing at French Park

The Memorial Grove was formed in 2012 to honor and remember local Sierra Club members or immediate family of members that have passed. So far, 17 native memorial trees have been planted in approximately an acre of land made available to the Club by Cincinnati Parks.

This past Saturday we planted two replacement Redbud trees, mulched all the trees in the Grove and removed honeysuckle, grape vines and invasive privet from the edge of the Grove. The site looks amazing and Cincinnati Park has been a fantastic support. Thank you to all of our volunteers for participating in this outing!
