Voting has closed and four candidates for Miami Group Executive Committee have prevailed.
Congratulations to the four newly elected members of the Sierra Club Miami Group Executive Committee: Sally Dannemiller, Bob Gedert, Marie Kocoshis and Gail Lewin. Starting in January 2025 these individuals, along with continuing members Chris Curran, Larry Falkin, Kathy Kugler, Barry Randall and Marilyn Wall, will make up the nine-person Executive Committee charged with the leadership of the Miami Group.
A huge thanks to all those who ran for office, as well as those who took the time to vote. As a grass roots organization Sierra Club depends on the participation and engagement of its members.
The nine-member Executive Committee meets monthly and sets policy for local Sierra Club programs in a 20-county area of southwest Ohio. The other five seats will be on the ballot next fall.
