Miami Group studying PFAS in area drinking water

The Miami Group has launched a study of PFAS in regional public water supplies. Local activists met last week with Dr. Abinash Agrawal, professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Wright State University, who has been analyzing public documents regarding the scope of contamination.

News reports have focused on PFAS originating from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Aullwood Audubon near Dayton, but statewide testing has uncovered more than 100 problem water systems. The National Sierra Club has joined a lawsuit over plans to burn PFAS-containing firefighting foam at several locations.
