Our first on-site educational program great success

On June 5, 2023, Dr. Robert Cook of Ohio State University hosted an on-site presentation of the current archeological dig at Turpin Farms in Anderson Township. This site has been home to ancient native Americans dating from 1,000 BC to 1,250 BC.

As we respectfully learned about their lives, Dr. Cook explained past excavations done by Harvard University for the World’s Fair. Each year, Dr. Cook, and others explore, through science, how these native Americans lived so long ago.

Watch this website for details of the next presentation by Dr. Cook which will be held in October at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church.
