Past Plastic Cincinnati was invited by the Health Department section WIC (Womens Infants and Children) to Roselawn Farmer’s Market for a handout of reusable bags that people can use to carry their food home. WIC is a special supplemental nutrition program providing nutrition for women, infants, and children. The Past Plastic Cincinnati group handed out reusable bags to encourage the reduction of single use plastic bags and increase use of reusable bags at farmers markets.
