Ansel Adams, famed American landscape photographer and environmentalist, was also a prominent member of the Sierra Club. Adams joined the Sierra Club at age 17, and remained a member his entire life, later serving as a director along with his wife, Virginia Best. Members of the Miami Group were privileged to receive a special guided tour of the “Discovering Ansel Adams” exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum on Thursday, January 9. (The exhibit closed on January 19.) The talk and tour were conducted by curator William Messer.

We offer sincere thanks to the Art Museum and Mr. Messer for an entertaining and educational evening.
