This discussion group focuses on books, movies, podcasts, and other media that highlight environmental and sustainability issues and how we as individuals, communities and systems can make change for a brighter future.
Our January discussion will be held virtually and focus on the topic of consumption – from the ways our purchases affect the planet to the steps individuals and systems can take to mitigate our impact on the environment. To prepare for the discussion, choose one or more of the following media:
- Tatiana Schlossberg’s book Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don’t Know You Have. (288 pages or about eight audio hours)
- Laurie David’s Imagine It! A Handbook for a Happier Planet. (256 pages or about three audio hours)
