Miami Group Outings is offering an intermediate backpacking trip Nov. 7-9 at the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park where Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia meet. Participants in the three-day, two-night trip will have the option of either base-camping at the Wilderness Road Campground and enjoying leisurely day hikes on their own, or take a challenging 26-mile backpack along the Wilderness Road Trail, visiting the Hensley Settlement, White Rocks and Sand Cave along the way.
