The Miami Group Sierra Club Political Committee is in the process of interviewing candidates for endorsement for the November 2025 Cincinnati City Council race. Candidates were interviewed in person and their names and write up of the interviews were presented to the Miami Group Sierra Club Executive Committee. Those that were approved were forwarded to the Ohio Chapter Political Committee for final approval. Thus far these candidates have been notified they are endorsed. They include:

• Anna Albi, incumbent
• Jeff Cramerding, incumbent
• Mark Jeffreys, incumbent
• Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, incumbent
• Evan Nolan, incumbent
• Meeka Owens, incumbent
• Raffel Prophett
• Seth Walsh, incumbent

Part of the endorsement process also included the development of a questionnaire covering environmental issues such as the Metropolitan Sewer District mission to eliminate Combined Sewer Overflows, improvement of Cincinnati recycling efforts and the elimination of PFAS from Cincinnati City Waterworks.
