In preparation for the Great Ohio Climate March, Third Act Ohio invited Nancy Ball, Sierra Club Outings Leader and author of the book How to Poop in the Woods and Other Backpacking Essentials for Women, to present the “Leave No Trace” principles to participants of the march. Leave No Trace works to ensure that everyone — no matter where they explore — has the knowledge and tools to enjoy nature while minimizing their impact. The program is built around seven core principles that guide people in making low-impact decisions outdoors.
