Many thanks to all of those who made the 2024 Paddlefest Expo For All Gear Sale a resounding success! The event would not have been possible without the generous donations, or those that came out to support us and shop the bargains. And of course a special thanks to the Miami Group Outings Committee for organizing the event, and to our friends at Adventure Crew.
Despite the threatening weather, we raised a substantial amount to support Miami Group’s outings, educational and environmental advocacy efforts. Just as important, we encouraged reuse, kept old gear out of landfills, and introduced some beginners to a new outdoor activity. One customer wrote to say “I just can’t thank you all enough! Our daughter is soooo happy she found all her backpacking gear used. Thank you for doing this!”
