THE POLITICAL ACTION COMMITEE contributes to the Sierra Club’s objectives by helping elect politicians who seek to protect our resources and natural heritage. Our work is tightly integrated with both national and local conservation priorities.
The committee meets regularly and encourages volunteer participation, particularly during the busy campaign season, to assist with research, candidate interviews, phone calls, mailings, and canvassing.
We endorse political candidates in state and local elections. Click here to see our 2025 endorsements.
If you would like to get involved with our Political Committee please visit our Committees page to submit a response to our volunteering survey.
